Zana and Nadia Muhsen

Hello guys,

I spent yesterday reading this book called: Sold - The Story of Modern-Day Slavery.

This book is by real story that began in 1980 when father sold and married his two daughters without their knowledge. They've been taken to Yemen's mountain village far away from civilisation. Each of them lived in different family and was forced to sex and hard work. They couldn't escape or come back home, not even meet each other for months. Their fathers-in-law were very cruel to them and would beat them up if sisters didn't follow his statements. Sisters both gave a birth. Older one - Zana Muhsen - to Marcus and Nadia Muhsen to three children.

The ending of the Nadia story here

When six years passed they found a way to contact their mother and after another two years they could leave this horrible village but not country and lived in rented house in the city, waiting for Yemen's government's decision. The law in Yemen is that if married couple divorces, the children stay with the father. Nadia couldn't leave her kids but Zana left promising to Nadia she's gonna get her out there with all of their children. But another years pass and Nadia is still in Yemen, even comes back from the city to the cruel village, is under control of her father-in-law and is pregnant again.

(back in Yemen - Nadia on the left, Zana on the right)

I finished this unbelievable book in one day - I just couldn't stop. And I couldn't believe the end so again, I've been been doing some research and found the answer - here.

So, I wish happiness, luck, love and health to you, don't let anyone take your freedom... ever...            Terez

Hello people,

been gone for a while - lost in my crazy brain. Hard to explain.

Meanwhile I'm listening to Gabrielle Aplin. It's been a while since I've found some artist as talented as her! She is amazing and has very special voice colour. Surely am going to post more songs by her!

This one is called Home and this video is from live session. There is even a studio version of this amazing song but this performance is just so special I want you guys to see it.

Love and merry Christmas, people!           Terez

Can You Save Me

Hello people,

I'm watching this show Covert Affairs at the moment, while I'm writing this.
Annie Walker is just an amazing woman, isn't she? She can fight, shoot, speak at least billion languages... and  she's beautiful. I'm not lesbian, it's just a compliment from perfectly straight woman.

So, song I'm posting today is the theme song for Covert Affairs. It's called Can You Save Me and is by Flint Eastwood - formerly Power. Check this out, people.

Love,                  Terez
